No Sew Baby Halloween Costume Ideas

You want to show off your baby this Halloween in a costume that is just as cute as she is, but where do you start? You could buy a Halloween costume, of course, but these costumes are often low quality and don’t have that personal touch. Fortunately, there are several costumes you can easily make at home with no sewing required. Here are some ideas to get you started.
Baby Halloween Costumes Tip
Make sure your baby’s Halloween costume is comfortable, warm and offers easy access to the diaper area. Also, make sure all small parts are glued securely to the costume so your baby can’t pull them off.
Bumblebee
Glue black strips of felt onto a yellow sweatshirt and pants. You can also glue yellow stripes onto a black sweat suit to make a bumblebee halloween costume for your baby. Cut a pair of wings out of cardboard or craft foam and use paint to add lines. Glue the wings onto the back of the sweatshirt. Make antennae out of pipe cleaners and attach to a black hat or the hood of the sweatshirt. Put black gloves and socks on your baby to complete this bumblebee costume.
M&M
Cut two circles of felt big enough to cover your baby from her neck to her feet. Glue the circles together along the edge, leaving space for your baby’s head and arms. Cut an M out a piece of black felt and glue it to the front of one circle. Cut a slit in the other circle from the neck hole down to a few inches above the bottom. Glue or sew some Velcro along the edges of the slit to hold it closed once your baby is wearing this M&M costume.
American Flag
Cut a hole in the bottom of a white pillowcase for your baby’s head. Cut a hole in each side for her arms. Paint a blue block in one corner and red stripes from top to bottom, like a flag. Add the stars to the blue block. You can also use felt instead of paint for the details on this halloween costume
Spider
Dress your baby in a blacksweat shirt and pants. Stuff fabric, paper or other socks into 8 long, black men’s dress socks. Safety pin the end of each sock closed. Safety pin the socks to the back of the sweatshirt to make the legs
Baked Potato
Short on supplies and time? This baby Halloween costume uses something everyone has right in their own kitchen. Wrap your baby in a blanket. Wrap aluminum foil around the blanket to make your baby one hot potato.
